Welcome to Comanche Elementary!

Since 1970, Comanche Elementary has been a proud home for young learners in Overland Park, Kansas! Today, our vibrant school family is over 370 students strong from Pre-K through 6th grade.

At Comanche, we believe great education is a team effort. Driven by passionate, dedicated teachers and an incredibly supportive parent community, we create a fun, nurturing environment where every child can shine.

Our Learning Journey: When our 6th graders graduate, they take their next big steps together into the Shawnee Mission school family—moving on to Westridge Middle School and Shawnee Mission West High School.

Whether learning in our modern building (opened in 2006 at 8200 Grant) or playing on the blacktop, Comanche is where bright futures begin!
